The 4-week architecture assessment is the engagement model we use to understand an organisation's current state, identify the top constraints on delivery or transformation, and produce a prioritised roadmap that the organisation can act on immediately. It is designed to produce maximum insight with minimum disruption to ongoing work.

Four weeks to a clear path forward

Week 1
Stakeholder Discovery
12–16 interviews across engineering leads, product managers, operations, and C-suite. Business goals, pain points, and current frustrations mapped against technical landscape. No tools or code reviewed yet.
Week 2
Technical Landscape Documentation
Service inventory, architecture diagrams, infrastructure documentation review. Current-state architecture mapped in C4 Level 1–2. Technology debt catalog built. Key integration points and failure modes identified.
Week 3
Analysis & Scoring
Five-dimension scoring (technology debt, team capability, delivery performance, data quality, security posture). Gap analysis against target state. Root causes of current bottlenecks identified — not just symptoms.
Week 4
Roadmap & Presentation
Prioritised initiative roadmap with effort, impact, and dependency sequencing. Business case for top three initiatives. Executive presentation and working-session facilitation with leadership team.
