Senior Backend Engineer (APIs & integration)

#The role

Build the APIs and event-driven services that replace legacy integration, with tests and documentation that the next team can rely on.

#What you will do

• Build APIs and event consumers, contract first.
• Implement integration patterns: idempotency, retries, outbox, dead-letter handling.
• Write tests, documentation and decision records alongside the code.
• Pair with client engineers and leave the codebase better than you found it.

#What you bring

• Five or more years of backend development (PHP with Symfony, Java, Go or TypeScript).
• Experience with relational databases and message brokers.
• A habit of automated testing and code review.
• English and French at working level.
