Solution & Integration Architecture
Systems that talk to each other cleanly.
Most estates are held together by integrations nobody fully owns: point-to-point links, an ageing ESB, nightly files. We design how your systems connect, then help retire what holds them back.
The problem we solve
Every new system adds connections. Without a design for them, each project builds its own, and the cost of change moves into the joins: brittle interfaces, duplicated data and outages that cross team boundaries.
What you get
You get contracts your teams can build against independently, and a plan to retire the middleware nobody wants to touch.
- An integration map: systems, interfaces, data flows and owners
- API and event contracts designed first, with OpenAPI and AsyncAPI
- A retirement plan for legacy middleware, sequenced so nothing breaks in between
- Security architecture for the interfaces: identity, secrets and network boundaries
How an engagement runs
Integration modernisation
A sequenced move from point-to-point and ESB patterns to APIs and events, with old and new running side by side until the old path can close.
Standards we work with
- OpenAPI
- AsyncAPI
- C4
- Event-driven patterns
- OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect
Questions we are often asked
Can you work with our existing middleware?
Yes. Most programmes run old and new integration side by side for a while; the plan decides what moves first and what retires last.
Do you build the integrations or only design them?
Both. Our architects design the contracts and work with your teams on the first, hardest interfaces.
Which integration platform do you recommend?
We are vendor-neutral. The choice follows your constraints: existing skills, volumes, latency and how much you want to run yourself.
